For those of you who don't know - maybe all three of you or so - I have a nine-year-old daughter nicknamed Jo (short for Jordan). She's in the third grade and, while her grammar is still something she's struggling with, and spelling is sloooow going (mostly because she's too lazy to bother looking up the words before submitting her papers), she is still a pretty smart kid. She reads at a sixth to seventh grade level, knows high school level math, and can draw better than most professionally trained artists.

She also is a fan of the tv show 'Sanctuary'.

So about a week or so ago, Jo's class had to write reports on famous scientists. Jo chose Nikola Tesla. She originally checked a book out of the library, told her teacher that the information was wrong, and asked to use another source. The teacher said that was fine, thinking Jo intended to gather info online from a credible source or something of that nature.

Instead, my daughter wrote a report that is both so wrong and yet so funny that her teacher (who is also a Sanctuary fan) FAXED me a copy of it today while she was at school, insisted she was keeping the original to mail in to the tv show, and gave Jo an A+ just for creativity. However, should anyone ever want to use my daughter's report as an accurate life of Nikola Tesla?

Well. Let's just say that'd be MUCH easier said than done.

And without further delay, I present to you my child's science report on Nikola Tesla. My scanner isn't working so I had to type it up myself, but I kept all spelling/grammar errors in tact so it is 100% authenticate Jo.
